The Cross: Power and Wisdom of God

Saint Paul writes: "The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." The cross, which the world sees as a sign of failure, is for Christians the ultimate symbol of love and victory. Through the cross, sin and death were conquered forever.
